As we restart our activities in July 2020, we will mainly be running outdoor activities in Petworth Park and an art project to capture young people’s perspectives on the lockdown in a giant mural on the side of our building. We will also be running 1 small indoor Greenpower session each week to get our 3 cars “race day ready” for possible track events in September.
All of our sessions need to be pre-booked and you can do this via our Eventbrite page https://www.eventbrite.com/o/sylvia-beaufoy-centre-29396826353.
Social distancing measures will be in place and antibacterial hand gel and masks available should you wish to use them. Please do not attend any of our sessions if you are feeling unwell or if you or any member of your family have had covid19 symptoms within the last 14 days. We will be checking temperature for all participants at each session and young people with a higher than normal temperature will not be able to partcipate.
The Sylvia Beaufoy Centre remains an important centre for Petworth and the surrounding area and provides a valuable support network for young people aged 8 to 21. We are very much looking forward to being able to reopen our indoor activities but recognise that, with current government guidance, this is unlikely to be until September 2020 at the earliest.
If you are under 16 we also need your parent/carer to complete a Parent Registration Form. This is to give their permission for you to come to youth club and also their consent for us to hold your data. If you are over 16, you are able to give your own consent. You can read our Privacy and use of Data Policy here which will give you more information on why we need to store your data and what we will use it for.
